To Elon, from Earth: Bradbury's Final Question
A conversation between visionaries, 77 years apart
From the essay
Since my teenage years in high school in the early 1960s, then at a university from 1962 to 1967 in the Soviet Union, and all the way to today in the US, I’ve been under Bradbury’s Martian Chronicles spell. His amazingly rich and mesmerizingly simple language—Hemingway-2 or Bradbury-1?—struck a deep chord in me, with its loaded one-word sentences and its lyrical prose that felt both intimate and universal.
