The Human Energy Switchboard
A Symptom-Based Personal Guide to Fatigue, Loss of Drive, and the Prevention of Depression
From the essay
I wanted to look at fatigue not as a vague complaint, but as a warning light—a sign that somewhere in the body’s energy network a gate is no longer opening clearly, a channel is no longer delivering reliably, or a local site of energy handling is no longer supporting life in the way it should. My suspicion has long been that if such physical malfunctions persist, the mind begins to carry their consequences. What follows is not a finished doctrine and not a replacement for medical or psychiatric care. Each symptom is a clue.
