This paper proposes a general theoretical framework for understanding the human body as a distributed energy system that can be analyzed using the logic of Probabilistic Risk Assessment. Instead of treating physiology primarily as a collection of organs, pathways, and isolated regulatory mechanisms, the present model treats the body as a dynamic energy network in which intake, transport, storage, conversion, allocation, and utilization must remain sufficiently coordinated for normal function to be sustained.
