Nuclear power is widely used for electricity production, is environmentally friendly, and can become a key source of energy, on the way to satisfy transportation through electric cars. Yet the risks include proliferation of nuclear weapons. How to minimize them? Discourage countries from nuclear weapon programs. Control nuclear materials and quickly discover their theft. Protect nuclear materials physically at nuclear facilities. Balancing risks and benefits is an ongoing game.

Missing dates are marked “Not stated” and never inferred from the recording. Year-only or month-only dates retain that precision. Newest sorts place undated items last.
