HelixBridge is a proposed voluntary, consent-based preconception and premarital genetic compatibility screening service. Its purpose is to identify high-risk reproductive genetic pairings before pregnancy, before late prenatal diagnosis, and before the birth of an affected child when earlier prevention would have been possible. HelixBridge is framed as an evidence-based implementation project. The service does not claim to invent carrier screening, Jewish founder-population screening, pan-ethnic screening, partner testing, or reproductive genetic counseling. These concepts are already present in the scientific and professional literature. The contribution of HelixBridge is to organize them into a clear, usable, privacy-aware, three-stage service that can be understood by individuals, couples, physicians, fertility programs, and selected community partners.
