Overview
Two Prophecies explores two radically different futures created by the same force: advanced AI. In the first, AI does not destroy humanity by force; it makes human contribution progressively unnecessary, weakening the friction, responsibility, and purpose that once kept civilization moving, and eventually even the desire to continue it. The second prophecy begins where ordinary extrapolation fails. If humanity is no longer needed in its present form, perhaps the answer is not leisure, artificial challenges, or better entertainment, but transformation itself: expanded consciousness, new forms of participation, contact with larger realities, and perhaps a future in which the pre-AI human story turns out to have been only the prologue.
