Overview
Traditional physical therapy often relies on rest and immobilization—braces, belts, and supports meant to prevent motion and protect injured tissues. While these measures can help during acute trauma, prolonged reliance on them weakens natural muscle tone, circulation, and proprioception. The body, deprived of its own stabilizing work, becomes dependent on external support.
